Well I have been very busy since my last post. Just hours after I added that last comment Avalynn came to join us!

Born November 26th @ 8:58 am
8lbs 9 oz and 21 3/4 inches long

Our house has grown by two feet

Avalynn is here!!! She arrived on Monday November 26th at 8:58am. She was 8 lbs 9 oz and 21 inches long. She took her time on her date to come meet us ( she was 9 days late) but once she decided on the day, she came quickly. Giving mom only 1 1/2 hours of labor.

I am now 9 days over due!!! I am going to be induced in 2 days if I haven't had the baby, but it is now 3am and I am have more...... contractions. I have been getting contractions for the last week on and off. They never become regular or stronger, but just stay the same for hours and then go away. But tonight they are getting stronger although they are only about 7 min apart, they are short. I guess this kids is going to keep me guessing till the end :)

40 weeks and 3 days and counting.....

Well we are still here at home waiting..... and Baby is just not ready yet to come meet her new family!

I have a prenatal today at 10:30 am, We will have to wait to see what the dr. says. I am going to be induced on Wed the28th. Thats only in 8 days, I am sure that we can hold off that long.

On Saturday we had a bit of a scare, the baby wasn't very active, very sleepy, I had a NST done at the hospital and after about 40 min, she finally woke up. She has been very sleepy since then, I'll find out today how often I should be waking her up.

Today is the Due Date

I seen the gyn on Friday and he has decided that I can be induce on the 28th if I haven't had her by then. That is a little longer then I thought, but atleast it's a date. That is 11 Days from today. I have been having a lot of contractions for the last few days but they just aren't picking up. Maybe I will still go in own my own before the 28th. I am a little nervous about heading off to the hospital when I am no in labour to have my water broke.

Either way, I am looking forward to meeting you "baby " 11 days or less to go.

39 weeks and 5 days!!!!

.....and she is still in there. I cant believe that I am due in 2 days. Wow this pregnancy went so fast!! I had a prenatal yesterday and will have one last one on Tuesday if i haven't delivered before then. The dr. said that we'll schedule an induction then. She is fine with breaking my water. YAA no c-sec for me, hopefully. So for the next few days I will have to keep my self busy and get everything ready. It looks like I wont have another week left :)

37 weeks and 5 days

Wow Its November!! That means sometime this month I will have a new baby!! I am getting so excited. I cant wait to meet her. I am feeling really good. I have a hard time moving around , it's getting uncomfortable, but other than that, I am feeling great.
I had a prenatal last Friday and They hadn't heard from the ultrasound techs as of then, so the dr. said that "no news is good news, if there was a problem that the would have called her." So I have my fingers crossed that all is well.
I have another prenatal tomorrow already. I cant believe how fast time is flying by.

36 weeks

Ugh!!!! I am getting uncomfortable!!! My hips are burning and my lower back is killing me. This baby moves so much, sometime she pushes her bum up and her head down hard when she is stretching and my goodness! that hurts. How am I going to make it this last month.

When I had my last ultrasound done at the beginning of the month to see if she was breech, which she wasn't, they noticed that one of the two arteries in her umbilical cord stopped functioning. This can cause not enough nutrience to pass though and then the baby not growing. I am going in for an ultrasound on Thursday to check on her growth. The said that if she isn't growing enough than I will need to be induced early. I am sure that she is getting more than enough nutrience or she wouldn't be as strong as she is. But I guess we'll see on Thursday.

As for her name. I am still waiting for Paul to decided. I have been researching trying to find other names and see if anything grabs him, but so far nothing. I still like Gabriella Hope and now I also like Avalyn Hope. I am going to have to starting bugging Paul to make up his mind or I will do it for him :)

What a Kid

Abigail is now 19 months old. She is learning so many new things now. She is starting to talk a lot and get into all sorts of trouble. What a personality. She is going to be such a drama queen!!

35 week and 3 days

Wow Time fly's, I think that I am ready now. Still waiting on a name from Dad, He cant decided. Also the bassinet arrives Oct 22nd. Otherwise we are all set. I am starting to get really uncomfortable. Baby is getting big. Lots of kicks and punches in the ribs and hip bones. This is my most active baby yet. She is moving all day and night. It'll be interesting to see what see is like once she is born. From what I have experiences, she is going to be an active baby who doesn't sleep much unless I am holding her and walking around :) We only 4 more weeks and we'll find out!

All moved!!

We are finally all moved into our new house. That was alot harder than I thought. I am so tired now. It was hard being pregnant and looking after the other 8 children while packing and moving and even trying to unpack. I could not believe how much stuff we have. 236 boxes and the furniture. Thank God it is all done and the kids are back at school. I am pretty much all unpacked. I think that by this weekend I should be done. I'll post some pictures after the weekend!!

30 Weeks and 4 Days

Wow ! Time is flying by. I only have 9 and 1/2 weeks left. I have been so busy I have not had any time to post updates.

We still dont have a name. Well I have a name, Gabriella Hope, but we are all waiting for Dad to agree. He doesn't feel that it's a decision that needs to be made any time soon, I guess that it is time to change that.

I am getting huge, I havn't gained any weight in that last couple of months but Baby is getting really big. She is starting to give me some good kicks and punches. Even some head butts. Some days I wonder how I am going to make it 2 more months.

I am going for my prenatals every two weeks now.

I am shopping for a bassinett and a swing. I have decided on the swing, but not the bassinett.

23 weeks

I have been able to see the baby moving the last few days! And today she had the hickups. I can sure tell that she is getting so much bigger now. I think that we have narrowed the name down to Isabella or Gabriella. Daddy is leaning towards Gabriella. Either way, we are going to be calling her Ella ( if one of those choices is her name.)

Day at th PNE

I took Jessica, Tianna, Joshua Matthew and Taylor to the PNE( playland). We had so much fun. We cant wait to go again!

Spending Time Together

Taylor is very excited that her baby sister is now able to play with her. They play all sorts of games together. Their favorite game to play is house.

Well here we are at 22 weeks and 3 days and I still have no ideas for any names. I do have a couple, but I am not sure if they are right or not. So far we have thought of

I am determaned to choose a name asap.

HOT HOT HOT HOT

Well the weather has been just beautiful. It has been getting up to 35. I love to heat and it is nice to come inside our house where it is nice and cool once I have had enough!! The kids have been having a blast playing in the yard and at summer camp. Maybe we should set up the pool this year. I am still not sure. Guess we'll need to have a family vote.

21 weeks 5 days

I am feeling really good. I am just a bit tired in the afternoons. I need to learn how to nap. I am starting to feel the baby move around quite a bit. The other day Matthew was laying his head on my tummy and she gave him a great big kick on the side of his head. He thought that was special to be the first one to feel her move. Soon i am sure that all the kids and Paul will be feeling her move around in there.
We are still undecided on a name. I just cant decide on anything. I need to do some more researching!!!

It's a GIRL!! and we are so excited. I cant wait to meet her. Now to choose a name??? HMMMMM???????

We had a 3d ultra sound done in langley and found out that we are going to have another little GIRL!!! Abi is excited to have a little sister to play with.

We had our 3D ultrasound in Langley and found out that we are having another little girl. I am so excited!! I will post a picture soon. She is so cute.

Our first Camping Trip of 2007

We went on our first Camping trip On May 31st. We went to Cultas Lake. We had a lot of fun. Abigail did great. She had a bit of a hard time getting off to bed, but other than that , she just ran and ran and ran and got really dirty.

There were a lot of deer around. Some babys come right up to the camp site to eat. The kids really enjoyed that.

A Day at Sardis Park

Abigial loves to go to Sardis Park and feed the ducks. They are always chasing her around hoping for more food. Of course she loves the park and going on the swings

Abi's First Watermellon

Yummmmy!! Abigail tried her first piece of watermellon and she loved it.

Concentration!

Abigial loves juice boxes. The Kids have taught her how to get the straw off the package and put it in the box. It takes a minute. And then once she gets it in, she can drink the whole juice box in under a minute.

Jordon favorite thing is his DirtBike. He could spend hours, Day and Night riding his dirt bike. It scares me to watch him, but I cant resist that look on his face when he is out there. He has soooooooo much fun. He is a Natural. Watch out Ricky Carmichael, Jordon is working his way up!

Abi's gonna be a big sister!!!

Sometime in November Abigail is going to have a baby brother or sister. She is very excited!!. We'll have to start a new blog soon for the new baby.

Here comes Baby # 9

We found out that we are expecting Number 9 in November. We are all very excited. Lets think blue so that we can even out the number :) Although sometimes I truely believe that boys are much more difficult that girls. We should be able to find out in June or July.

Matthew and Joshua woke up in the middle of the night and decided to keep the dog company. In the morning they were both sound asleep with Jake.

First PonyTails.

Abi had her first pony tails put in her hair. She didn't mind it at first but after about 15 min. She started pulling them out. I guess we will have to keep trying and hopefully she will get used to them soon.

Computer Kid

Jordon amazes me again!! He took two broken computers and made one good computer. He even made is own working mouse!

My Baby Girl has her First Job. She is working at McDonalds. And loving it. Way to go Kaite. (Thanks for making me feel soo old :0)

MONSTER JAM 2007

Now those are some big Monster Trucks! Paul and I took the boys to see the monster truck show in Vancouver. It was a lot of fun. VERY LOUD! But fun. After Grave Digger broke his truck, Monster Mutt won the show.We cant wait till next year.
